Carolina is a big, fast-moving city, and most families can't spend the whole day at the hospital. During those hours when your family can't be there, your loved one has a caregiver in the room who attends to them calmly and leaves everything documented — so every visit of yours finds order, information, and peace of mind.
We cover the Hospital UPR Dr. Federico Trilla, the Doctors Center Hospital San Fernando de la Carolina, and area hospitals.

In the room
Our hospital companion in Carolina does much more than be present. They attend, observe, ask, and document — working alongside the nursing staff.
Bathes the participant and keeps them clean, comfortable, and dignified throughout the hospitalization, with respectful and gentle care.
Serves meals, helps with eating when needed, and reports if the participant loses their appetite so the medical team stays informed.
Logs everything the nursing staff administers: times, medication names, and treatments. Exact information, never left to memory.
Takes and records vital signs for continuous monitoring that supports the clinical staff's work.
Communicates with the medical staff and the social worker to coordinate discharge and post-hospitalization care, including what the family should prepare at home.
At the end of each shift, delivers everything documented in a clear report: what was done, what was observed, and what's next. The family arrives informed, not guessing.
Clear limits: we're strictly non-clinical. Your loved one receives no wound care, injections, or medication administration from the caregiver: the hospital's nursing staff handles that. If the participant needs clinical services, we refer them to an agency with nursing.
Coverage in Carolina
Carolina receives participants from all over the east and the metro area, and many arrive at the Hospital UPR Dr. Federico Trilla — the University of Puerto Rico's teaching hospital with over 40 years of service — or at the Doctors Center Hospital San Fernando de la Carolina. After surgery or during a long hospitalization, the participant needs constant company and the family needs reliable information. That's where our caregiver comes in: continuous presence in the room and a documented report at the end of each shift.
Is your loved one in another nearby town? We also bring caregivers to San Juan, Trujillo Alto y Canóvanas. Check out the hospital caregivers page and all the service areas.
