In the room
Our hospital companion in Guaynabo cares for the participant and keeps the family connected to what's happening in the room, shift after shift.
Bathes the participant and keeps them clean and comfortable throughout the hospitalization, with dignified and respectful care.
Serves meals and helps with eating when needed. If the participant isn't eating well, reports it so the medical team knows in time.
Logs everything the nursing staff administers: times, medication names, and treatments. An exact record the family can review.
Takes and records vital signs for continuous monitoring that complements the clinical staff's care.
Communicates with the medical staff and the social worker to coordinate discharge and post-hospitalization care, so the return home doesn't catch the family off guard.
At the end of each shift, delivers everything documented in a clear report: what was done, what was observed, and what's next. First-hand information, no middlemen.
Clear limits: we're strictly non-clinical. Your loved one receives no wound care, injections, or medication administration from the caregiver: the hospital's nursing staff handles that. If the participant needs clinical services, we refer them to an agency with nursing.
Coverage in Guaynabo
Many Guaynabo families work in the metro area and can't be at the hospital during the day. Between PR-20 traffic and the day's commitments, making every doctor visit becomes a race. Our hospital caregiver fills that gap: they're in the room from early on, attend to the participant, speak with the staff, and leave everything documented — so the family arrives at the afternoon visit with the full picture.
Is your loved one in another metro-area town? We also bring caregivers to San Juan, Bayamón y Trujillo Alto. Check out the hospital caregivers page and all the service areas.
